NIGHTRAGE: Performance Footage Of New Song Available

August 12, 2008

Multi-national thrashers NIGHTRAGE have updated their YouTube channel with the third episode of their 2008 tour diary. The nine-minute clip, which includes performance footage of a new song ("Abandon") beginning around the 4:40 mark, can be viewed below.

NIGHTRAGE is currently writing material for its fourth album, tentatively due next year via Lifeforce Records. According to the band, "The songs so far have a very old-school feel, without lacking originality, and represent a conscious search for what has been NIGHTRAGE's little unique enclave in the quite crowded 'melodeath' scene." Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "The Failure of All Human Emotions", "Among Wolves", "Opposite in Black", "Abandon", "Shed the Blood", "Wearing a Martyr's Crown" and "Mocking Modesty".

NIGHTRAGE's third album, "A New Disease Is Born", was released in April 2007. The CD was recorded at Hansen studios in Ribe, Denmark with producer Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, MERCENARY, FEAR MY THOUGHTS, HEAVEN SHALL BURN).

NIGHTRAGE last year recruited singer Antony Hämäläinen (also in BURN YOUR HALO) to replace Jimmie Strimell.
